Our landholdings of 770 hectares or approximately 1900 acres are located near Donnybrook in the picturesque South West of Western Australia.
In 1999, 260 hectares or approximately 640 acres of vines were planted which established the Preston Vale Vineyard as the single largest planting in the state and as a producer of premium quality wines.
Searching for new and innovative ways to better utilize and manage our property, we introduced selected breeding stock of Dorper sheep to create our own commercial white Dorper sheep stud.
A herd of 3000 of these sheep now graze the free range pasture and rolling hills of the vineyard and produce outstanding quality lambs.
Next to follow were Black Angus and other selected cross breed cattle. These cattle are handpicked by us to produce marbled beef of exceptional quality.
Integrating these 3 different aspects of our business created the unique “Baumè Meat” concept that is now taking the Baumè Luxury Meats Company to the world market.
